Our story

7HEAVEN YACHT BROKERAGE, founded by Filippo Martini, has been active since 2014 in the nautical market for the brokerage of pre-owned pleasure boats. 7Heaven took its first steps in 2010, almost by chance, when everything began from a passion for sailing and Grand Soleil yachts in particular — leading to a close collaboration with Cantiere del Pardo and the role of official Grand Soleil Brokerage Broker.

Since 2022, Filippo Martini has been the Italian representative for Berthon International.

Since 2023, the 7HEAVEN YACHT BROKERAGE team has grown with the addition of Gianfranco Cantarella, who shares with Filippo a professional background from a different sector, as well as deep commercial experience and a long-standing passion for yachting. The successful collaboration with numerous external partners and ongoing synergy with the best yacht brokers complete the 7Heaven network, making it one of the most highly regarded maritime brokerage firms on the market.

The Principal

Filippo Martini

Filippo Martini holds a degree in Economics with a Marketing specialisation and twenty years of managerial experience in the world of US multinationals. Then, at 50, a turning point: a collaboration with Pierservice and Cantiere del Pardo, and from 2014, a registered maritime broker with CCCIA Rome.

Since 2010, he has spent most of his time on a sailing yacht, which has progressively become his home and his office.

His strength in the market comes from his consulting experience in a broader field than the strictly nautical one, and from having arrived at maritime brokerage driven more by passion and love for boats than by professional circumstance.

Filippo became a boat owner 30 years before choosing his current profession, which gives him direct, first-hand knowledge of what buyers and sellers truly need. He approaches each mandate as a slow-food consultant — beginning with a thorough process of understanding, evaluating and defining the ideal boat for each client based on their needs and budget.

His personal and professional relationship with one of the most important and respected yards in Italian yachting gives him early access to the best opportunities, invaluable technical information, and an excellent network of contacts across the entire sector.
